Months later, another disturbing experience occurred. At around 8 p.m., I went to collect groceries, and yet again, an older man followed me. He even went up to the apartment above mine to avoid being caught, leaving a newspaper on the door. This includes not only potential threats but also drivers who stay too close and uncles who loom with unsettling intentions. These unscrupulous behaviors further highlight the dire need for heightened security measures in our society.

The reality of incidents such as the horrifying case of Lakshmi, a 12th class student who faced robbery in Jalandhar, Punjab, raises serious questions about our current society's protection protocols. In 2021, Lakshmi managed to hold on to a robber, but the experience remains harrowing.
