Are We Truly Free to Make Our Own Choices?
Are We Truly Free to Make Our Own Choices?
Our path is known from the perspective of eternity but remains unknown from a temporal perspective. We are allowed to choose our own path, a freedom bestowed upon us that cannot be dictated or forced upon us in any way. Despite the eternal realm's ability to foresee all our decisions, our choices are nonetheless our own.
Decision-making and Free Will
We make decisions and exercise free will constantly throughout our lives. To avoid free will, one would have to cease all activity until death without making any choice, including not eating, not speaking, or not even moving. Even this inaction is still a choice and a manifestation of our free will. Anything we do is a choice, and making those choices speaks to our free will.
Awakening to Higher Expressions of Choice
Our lifetime experiences and spiritual journey lead us to a place of awakening, allowing us to choose our total reality before birth. This choice includes aspects of existence that will unfold throughout the essence of family and other relationships. It is through this choice that we define our purpose and mission on Earth. We are free to create change and transformation as we explore limitations and transcend physical boundaries. Through free will, we complete our earthly mission and contribute to societal and cultural advancements.
Interconnectedness and External Influences
In the modern world, everything is deeply interconnected. While some decisions can be made with full autonomy, many are influenced by external factors and circumstances. For instance, the public statements made by a CEO or founder can have ripple effects, influencing the stock market. Corruption or negligence can lead to suffering among common people. In these scenarios, the freedom to make a decision is constrained.
Even when we make a decision, it may not result in the desired outcome due to external forces. Sometimes, we are not free to make a decision at all, as another person or a system makes the choice for us. These external influences remind us that, while we have the power to choose, our choices are not always independent and unimpeded.
Embracing Free Will in Action
Embracing free will means acknowledging the higher knowledge and wisdom inherent in our choices. Free will is not just a human perspective but a reflection of our life path journey experiences. To fully understand free will, one must study metaphysical literature and explore its context. Understanding the concept of love and light is crucial in comprehending the higher designs of our existence and the purpose behind our choices.
Ultimately, free will is a divine symbol of creation, allowing us to transcend physical limitations and contribute to greater realities and abilities brought about by the Supreme Creator. By harnessing this gift, we can create higher designs and purpose in our lives, transforming our experiences and the world around us.
